On Friday 17 February we will be having a non-uniform day. We are hoping to raise some money for a few different charities, including Bloodline, Kids Cancer Charity & Ronald McDonald House. A sibling of one of our pupils was recently taken ill and diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. The family are trying to raise money for a few of the charities which have helped them through this awful time in their lives. Hopefully by having a non-uniform day we can show our support. Any donations will gratefully be received by the school and passed on to help reach the target fundraising amount.

Thank you to all that took part in Ysgol Y Faenol's first ever BAKE OFF!

Clwb Elwyddan found it very hard to choose winners as all the entries were "bendigedig"!! Thank you also to Mrs Roberts and Mrs Price for coming as guest judges and helping the Welsh club members to decide on the winners.

We have been busy the last fortnight making signs for local businesses to go up promoting "Sumae" week.

One member that made each sign, went with Gwion and Mrs Kay today (13/10) to meet the business owners and hand over the signs to be displayed around Bodelwyddan.

We have some great ideas for our next project...WATCH THIS SPACE!
