    Fri 15 Jul 2016

  • Year 2/3 Trip to Bodelwyddan Castle

    Mon 04 Jul 2016

We had a fantastic day at Bodelwyddan castle looking for all the Victorian clues hidden around the rooms. We had chance to use the new Victorian Green Room dress up activity and are awaiting the photos of this! We had our lunch outside on the grounds and then just at the end of the day we all had a go at making our own Thaumatropes just like the real ones we saw at the castle!

A big thank you to Aly who was a fantastic photographer for our trip!

  • Victorian Afternoon Tea

    Fri 01 Jul 2016

We had great fun planning our own Victorian Style afternoon tea.

We worked within a budget and decided what we could order to make sure we could feed the 31 children and 4 adults that were invited! A group of children helped Mrs Kay order the food from Asda.com and it was delivered just in time to be prepared before the big event!

Thank you again to all the staff and parents that helped make it a successful and enjoyable afternoon!

  • Year 1/2s trip to Conwy Castle

    Tue 14 Jun 2016
We had a fantastic day at Conwy Castle. We learnt a lot about the history of the castle from our lovely tour guide, Morgan. The children also remembered a lot of the information that we had learnt about castle features in class and were able to spot them throughout the day.
The children all behaved fantastically and all though many of the children were nervous about climbing up the narrow staircases to the top of the towers they all persevered. Well done Year 1/2!
