This half term the topic is Up, Up and Away.
We are using the text 'The Way Back Home' by Oliver Jeffers for our talk for writing project. The children have thoroughly enjoyed creating their own story map and actions to go with the text.
The children have also been very busy looking at the questions they had linked to our topic. They have then been planning their questions, researching to find the answers and presenting the information in different ways. Please see some amazing examples of our work in the 'class news' section.
During the Spring term our whole school topic is 'Living World' and the children in
Moel Siabod have decided they would now like to focus on life cycles and mini-beasts.
In line with this, this half terms 'Talk 4 Writing' project will be based on 'The Cautious Caterpillar'.

The children will need their PE kits and welly boots in school everyday. Please make sure that all items of clothing are clearly labelled.

Homework Project!
Next half term we will be learning all about space. Over half term I would like the children to research space and present what they find out in a format of their choosing. This could be a model, a poster, etc. The space projects are due in on Monday 13th November.
