Mrs. Rostron's Retirement
Thu 20 Dec 2018Mrs. Rostron has visited school today for an informal gathering before she formally retires tomorrow. The children and staff gathered in the school hall this afternoon to celebrate her 19 years at Ysgol Y Faenol. The children sang some songs and read out a poem. We presented Mrs. Rostron with some beautiful flowers, some Clogau earrings and a book voucher. Mrs. Rostron's dedication and devotion to our pupils at Ysgol Y Faenol has been inspirational. We will miss her very much and wish her a relaxing, wonderful and well deserved retirement. We have all, including Mrs. Rostron, had an emotional, but lovely afternoon.
We have invited Mrs. Rostron back to school for our St. David's Day service in the Spring Term to which we intend to invite members of the wider community, past pupils/colleagues to join us to wish Mrs. Rostron a happy retirement. Further details to follow.
