ABOUT US:
Little Lambs Fun Club is a 48 place children’s After-School and Holiday Club based in Ysgol Y Faenol, Bodelwyddan.
Our motto is “to learn to play and play to learn”
We aim to provide children with a safe, happy environment in which they can grow and develop individually. Encouraging social interaction, confidence, emotional well being as well as physical control and intellectual progression!
We also encourage the parent/carer to be involved in the day-to-day care of the children, by involving them in what activities we carry out and preference, routine and standard setting.
We will provide a varied nutritional snack in the afternoon during After-School Club. During Holiday Club we will provide a morning snack and afternoon snack, however, children are required to bring a packed lunch with them for their lunch. All lunches will be stored appropriately.
We will help the children by stimulating them to use all our toys and equipment both inside and outside. Help them learn concepts such as, colour, numbers, shapes and word recognition.
We will encourage the use of language through books, discussions and media. Welsh will also be introduced.
Craft, music, drama, physical exercise will be encouraged to help with developing skills. Race, ethics, culture and religion will be respected and the children taught differences through dressing up, ethnical toys and environmental influences. As well as encouraging developing skills such as dressing, washing, eating skills and toileting skills.
