It's CHRISTMAS!!

It has been our annual 'practise the Christmas performance' this week. We know we can put together a fantastic show in a short time so we don't start to practise until a week before our performances. We have been singing our Christmas songs and walking on and off the stage at the right time. We have been standing on the stage resisting the urge to wave or shout out and our fabulous smiles have been beaming. Our teachers have been so proud of our superb attitudes, great singing and behaviour.

We have been sorting money and counting money. ( Just in case we get any pennies to spend at Christmas) We have been learning about the Christian story of The birth of Jesus and realised our play is about that story! We built models of the stable with Lego. We have told each other what we can remember about the story.

We have been practising our motor skills by: making spirals to decorate the tree outside, finger print Christmas tree lights on bunting, Christmas chains in 3 colour patterns, Christmas cards with 6 buttons for decoration and writing messages to our parents.

We have been developing all our skills through our free play choices. We have shown our teachers just how fabulous we all are with our amazing stories, ideas and games. .
