  • Cooking Bus

    We had a great time developing our cooking skills and making some fantastic food. During our time on the Cooking Bus we made pizzas, salads, fruit kebabs, couscous, wraps and Caribbean fruit salad.

  • Cooking bus Timetable

    The cooking bus will be visiting Ysgol Y Faenol this week. The bus will, however, be based at Bodelwyddan Community Centre. All full-time pupils (Reception to Year 6) will have an opportunity to experience a cooking session on the bus.
    The children will visit the cooking bus in small groups of half class sizes.

  • Year 2/3 Victorian Day

    As part of Mrs Kay's class topic "The Victorians" the children experienced a day in the life of a Victorian child at school. It seems like the children had lots of fun but were happy to be back to normal the next day! Thank you to all the effort made in helping make our day a success!
  • WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATIONS!

    Pupils and staff members celebrated World Book Day by coming to school dressed up as characters inspired by their favourite books.
  • Cooking Bus

    As part of our work on Healthy Schools we have been offered the use of the Health Challenge Wales Cooking Bus during week commencing 28th April, 2014. The cooking bus visits primary schools and provides pupils, teachers and members of the community with practical cooking lessons. The cooking bus is a giant hi-tech articulated lorry, which opens out into a spectacular purpose built kitchen where qualified food teachers give practical cooking lessons.
