Week beginning 14th December 2015

Last week of the first term...that went so fast!!
I hope the children have enjoyed the time as much as I have - teaching Nursery and Reception is an absolute privilege. They are such incredible children; truly fabulous.

This week we have been learning about bar graphs, recapping the Christmas story and having a lot of fun.
I was very proud of the ones who went to the pantomime: they sang, clapped, wiggled and laughed in all the right places and behaved brilliantly.
This week, we have made little self-elf Christmas tree decorations, cards, gift tags and party hats. Some children were able to create Christmas pictures on the computer with Mrs Harvey. Their has been lots of independent writing, reading, role play and creative activities this week. The children were able to share with me the skills they'd been using.
All who attended the Christmas party joined in with Mrs Jones, the head teacher's games and had lots of fun. Christmas dinner cooked by Maggie was a big hit too.

We all hope that you can enjoy a peaceful, fun filled Christmas ( if both are possible at the same time!) and look forward to more superb learning and laughs in the New Year.
