Dyma ni-Clwb Elwyddan 2019/20!

Hello everyone! Clwb Elwyddan here! We are a group of upper juniors seeking to promote bilingualism and our welsh culture and heritage around our school. We meet weekly during lunchtimes to discuss ideas, plan events and create new resources. We also run Welsh playground games to pupils from the Foundation Phase every playtime!

Sumae pawb! Dyma ni Clwb Elwyddan! Rydym fel clwb yn edrych i hyrwyddo mwy o'r iaith a diwylliant Cymraeg yn ein hardal ni. Rydym yn cyfarfod yn wythnosol yn ystod amser cinio i drafod syniadau, trefnu digwyddiadau ac i greu adnoddau. Hefyd, rydym yn dal Chwaraeon Buarth Cymraeg pob amser chwarae, i'r plant Cyfnod Sylfaen.

Welsh Lunchtime Playground Games

*UPDATE*

For our recent meeting, we made a team decision that we wanted to buy new resources to help with our Welsh games outdoors.

We have purchased a treasure box full of resources to use with the foundation phase children at lunchtime. We used the raffle money that we raised in order to purchase it.

We are very excited to launch them next week!

Raffle Winners!

We have raised £60 for our club with our raffle this week!! Thank you to all who joined in and a big "LLONGYFARCHIADAU" to the winners of the Welsh Mountain Zoo tickets!

After the half term we will be deciding what we would like to spend our money on and will keep you posted!

Trinity has made signs to help derbyn find the apps on the ipads!

Cyw App Party with Dosbarth Yr Aran

We have been busy this term planning a Magi Ann app party to the younger children.

We had a lovely morning, thank you to Erin and Maria's fanily for bringing in cakes for the children too! Hopefully they will go home and download the magi ann app onto their own tablets to promote bilingual reading at home not just at school!

The club have decided to re-launch the Welsh Playground Games. It goes on four days a week during lunchtime and is led by different Clwb Elwyddan members each day. Children from Nursery up to Year 3 can join in and play Welsh games outdoors. Participants may also be nominated for a sticker award during our Welsh assembly for using lots of Welsh!
