Gardening with Miss Vicci Owen

All children get the opportunity to come gardening on a rota basis. They learn about planting, looking after their crops. They get to try the foods they have grown and make simple recipes. We cover numeracy, geography, history through gardening, such as measuring, weighing, money, where plants are from who brought them to this country etc.. above all else to enjoy the outside environment and a bonus is we get fit too!!
